Tom Kierspe
Tom Kierspe is married to his beautiful wife Kay and resides in Moncks Corner, SC. Tom has been employed with Santee Cooper since 1983. He started as an Engineer at Grainger Station with positions ranging from Supervisor, Mechanical Maintenance (Grainger Station); Superintendent of Maintenance (Jefferies Station); Manager, Generation Projects; Vice President Engineering and Construction Services and Vice President Environmental, Property and Water System Management.
Tom holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and a MBA from Charleston Southern University.
Tom enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Bob Barlow
Bob Barlow was born in South Bend, IN and is married to his beautiful bride Michele. They have 6 children ranging in age from 19 – 39 and 11 grandchildren. Bob has resided in SC for over 11 years.
He holds a BA and MBA from Indiana University. With 35 years of service, Bob retired from Time Warner Cable (TWC) in late 2014 as President of TWC’s Oceanic (Hawaii) Division. He started his career at TWC’s corporate offices in Denver in early 1980. Throughout the years he has been President of the TWC San Diego, South Carolina, Memphis and Desert City divisions and General Manager of the TWC Pinellas County Florida Region for 10 years.
Bob enjoys hunting (bow, rifle, shotgun), fishing with family and friends, golf, cycling, and reading.
Troy Diel
Troy M. Diel has lived in Berkeley County all his life. He has been married to his wife Laurie for 19 years. They have raised their 2 children Davis and Lindsey in Berkeley County.
Troy is the Park Director for the South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper). He oversees the overall planning, organizing, staffing, directing, implementing, reviewing and evaluating the operation of the recreational areas for Santee Cooper.
Troy was elected 8 years ago to service as a State Conservation District Commissioner for Berkeley County. Troy is committed to the residents of Berkeley County in looking towards future conservation needs in the community and also reinforcing partnerships with the municipalities, state and federal agencies in the region. Through this position he provides: resource information; technical, financial, and planning assistance; program oversight to local landowners/users, and local, state, and federal governments to maintain, conserve, and wisely use the resources for Berkeley County.
Troy is a principal partner in the investment firm Diel & LeCroy Investment LLC. He holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a minor Biology from Charleston Southern University and finalizing a Master’s Degree in business from Webster University.
Troy has volunteered in the state chapter as President of the South Carolina Aquatic Plant Management Society and served on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Waterfowl Association. He sits on the board of directors for the Berkeley County Prevention Board. He served as a board member for the Lord Berkeley Conservation Land Trust for 10 years and Chaired the Land and Conservation committee for Crowfield Plantation. He has also volunteered with the YMCA, Northwood Baptist Church’s personnel committee, Callen-Lacey, American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America and Trident United Way.
